The Noun Project

The Noun Project, according to its founder Edward Boatman, collects, organizes and adds to the highly recognizable symbols that form the world’s visual language, so we may share them in a fun and meaningful way.

The project boasts close to 600 free, monochrome symbols covering everything from road signs to keyboard special characters.

While not all the symbols are instantly recognizable, the project is a welcome effort to celebrate the universal language of symbols and help us improve our collective understanding of it.
