Curio Revisited

Posted June 10, 2010 in Releases, No Comments yet

Context

Curio is a mind-mapping, brainstorming and project management application for mac. It is particularly powerful for managing design projects thanks to its multi-workspace approach. Its high price tag is definitely justified: styling, stencils, metadata, resource management, planning and even Evernote integration. Still, it leaves plenty of a room for improvement when it comes to UI. For instance, the default app icon looks as if it came straight from Windows 98! For a quick fix, here is a second replacement icon in case the first wasn’t for you.

Concept

While the concept is a replica of the original, it just has a way better composition and contrast to be discretely appended to the previous release.
