Who?

• My real name is L.Reda, a marketing major, rookie freelance designer, and social media critic. I also go by the name Kaishin around the web and elsewhere.

Where?

• I am currently based in Paris, France. I studied and worked previously in Tokyo and Casablanca. My whereabouts tend to change regularly, and that’s the way it is . As far as design goes, I usually work from my home office.

What?

• I make design, focusing on vector illustration, icon design and visual identity/branding. I do occasionally web/interface design. I also grew very interested in apparel design as of late.
• I market stuff online, mainly using social media.

How?

• My tools of the trade are Dedication, Diligence and Discipline (3D).
• My main machine is a unibody MacBook. My secondary machine is a pc running Windows XP.
• Currently using Adobe Illustrator / Adobe Photoshop CS4, a scanner, a Wacom tablet, a sharp pen and a notepad.

Why?

• Pay my bills. And more seriously I make design to promote “visual literacy”, kindle curiosity, stimulate critical thinking and ignite others creativity.
